The Three Wise Monkeys are Mizaru, covering his eyes, who sees no evil; Kikazaru, covering his ears, who hears no evil; and Iwazaru, covering his mouth, who speaks no evil. These monkeys are always together and act in unison, as if they were three aspects of one creature. They search for their lost companion, the fourth monkey Shizaru, who does no evil. Without his influence, the other three are capable of just about anything. Right now they are content to eat bananas and remain peaceful. Let's hope these monkeys don't turn to the dark side. And the bananas don't run out.
