Description:
I came to this island with an open heart and an open hand, believing still in the brotherhood of Man, with the mission of healing the afflicted and fostering unity among our warring peoples. In the years since my arrival, the tides of conflict have shifted around me. I have worked through headhunter attacks, inter-colony wars, murder sprees, and ordinary sniping in filthy, ghost-ridden medical huts and in drafty ruins. Through all of this I have bound gashes, cauterized wounds, treated malicious diseases, and tended my patients while combat raged or winds howled outside. I have striven to make our medical huts a place of shelter for all, lending aid to settler and native alike. I have been wounded, even killed repeatedly in the line of duty, and have still returned without complaint, never raising a hand against those who harmed me or my patients.
However, as time passed by, the rot of humanity became clearer and clearer to me. Brotherhood is but a dream, and the common bond is shattered. From this day on, this healer is taking up arms to protect her Republic and those she holds dear.
