Itty bitty Lotte Brittle, whos mother was a prude,
had a father prone to stutter, with a nasty mood.
So when Lotte hardly gave a tittle, about how she ate her food,
she had her father loudly utter, about how she hadnt chewed.
But dear papa said mostly spittle, and his daughter cooed,
that father could do naught but sputter, and his vocal chords were screwed.
Then mother told her to not belittle, her father and be so rude,
but dear papa just called her a nutter, and said she was crazed and crude.
With time did those words little by little, in Lottes mind become glued,
and soon to her room did she close every shutter, and lived more and more a seclude.
Now Lottes fathers fate now it'll, surely make you brood,
for they found him smeared in molten butter, after he was stewed.
In what appeared an act of transmittal, little Lotte debuted,
by dumping dear papa in the gutter, and proving to be quite skewed.
So soon to a madhouse she found her committal, after she was subdued,
within which Lottes thoughts were aflutter, with madness enough to preclude,
That she'd have any future as naught but a little, too messed up to be else than shooed,
Away from civil societys clutter, of the innocent, prideful and lewd.
But finally mother did get her acquittal, and had to the jury soon proved.
That clearly some madman had lied to and hit her, and forced in his crime to include.
So while free once again she stood, seemingly much less irate,
there was no way she ever could, stick around mother and wait,
and pretend to be nice and good, when all that she felt home was hate,
so she left dear mama saying she would, vanish and flee from the state.
And then Lotte did what she could, to get a new clean slate,
and decided late one night that she should, simply emigrate.
