Description:
After spending years and years receiving some of the best surgical training in the world, Polybius grew cynical of treating nobles for athlete's foot and having them disregard his advice about using lead makeup. So when he heard about a island brimming with conflict, Polybius spent a small fortune bribing an expedition to let him tag along. Once he got there, he realised no amount of training could have prepared him for the level of conflict on the island. Still, when he watched the settlers treating headaches with trepanation, giving out heroin for coughes and solving everything else with bloodletting, he realised there was a place for him on the island.
