This pirate wants to go native. Ever since tasting that first Shartak banana after the shipwreck, he felt like this island was his true home. He's now turned his back on civilization, which basically means to him that he's stopped showering (in fact he seems to have intentionally smeared mud on his face) and sticks parrot feathers in his old leather hat.
Correction: While visiting Wiksik recently, Zerzan was seduced into the new steam baths that the people there have developed. Zerzan is now a showered man, we'll see how long it lasts.
