This strange entity is of extradimensional origin, hailing from a distant world where sentient pumpkins are the dominant species. Being here has been quite the culture shock. Back home, the Lord of Pumpkins is known as Lakan-bakod and is worshipped as a god; here the humans keep trying to make a Halloween decoration out of him. Or a pie. Very disturbing. Cannibals in particular seem to like the taste of pumpkin pie. Go figure.
"On Halloween night, The Great Pumpkin rises from his pumpkin patch and flies through the air with his bag of gifts for all the good children of the island. If your faith and your pumpkin patch are sincere, he will come."
