Description:
The rather strong smell of rat bodily fluids alert people to Ratwiddle before they actually see him. Abandoned in the caves of Shartak while he was still rather young, Ratwiddle grew up slightly very crazy from eating nothing but mushrooms and rat. Ratwiddle believes that all life was created by one who left many markers in the caves, whom he dubbed the 'Signmaker'.
After forty or so years lost in the caves, he finally found his way out to the surface. Unfortunately his intense lack of hygiene and questionable sanity made him unpopular with the locals and outsiders alike. Ratwiddle now makes trips to the surface, which he calls the Bright Realm in order to resupply, but he still isn't able to re-integrate himself fully into society.
Ratwiddle walks with a noticeable limp from where a giant spider took a chunk out of his leg several years ago. He is also locked into an ongoing war with said spiders, naming himself commander of the Anti-Cave Spider League of Great Cave Heroes and Heroines. Despite looking like hell and having a strange glint in his eyes, you have nothing to fear from Ratwiddle, unless you happen to have eight legs.
