Quiet and serious, Ruhisai carries herself as a woman of pride and purpose. As a young shaman on a spiritual quest, her time is spent mainly in prayer or ritual. Her small, muscular body is an earth-toned canvas for ritual markings and a variety of other symbolic tattoos. Most of the art scattered across her 5'2 form was done with her own skilled hand. Though she has yet to see 18 winters, large, near black eyes seem eerily ancient.
Her clothing, what little of it there is, and travel packs are also of her own design and made from the skins of animal sacrifices. Their teeth and horns add decoration to the outfit, bags and in the form of Wiksik-style jewelry.
Until recently, Ru traveled alone and spoke only when forced. All that has changed now that she's found the mysterious outsider, Darwin Saint-Luke, who has been haunting her dreams and visions for the last year. They now travel together, married by both an outsider and a native and bound together for life.
Ruhisai and her soulmate, Darwin, are back in Wiksik and attempting again to make a life together with one change: their time on the island has made them capable of defending themselves and if harmed, they will repay the debt with very few exceptions. Once a calm, peaceful soul, she now kills those who threaten her happiness without hesitation or remorse.
