Description:
Little is known about what happened to the A-Team after the show's end, but even less is known about what happened on their last mission in the Gulf of Mexico in March 1989.
During their attempt to evade a Cuban armed group by airplane with their freed hostage, their plane was hit by ground fire from the militia's assault rifles. Fortunately, they managed to fly to a safe distance, but were forced to crash-land into the Haitian waters. All died, except John "Hannibal" Smith, however B.A. Baracus' body was nowhere to be found.
Smith, upon regaining conciousness on a seemingly deserted island's beach, a few yards away from his companions' bodies, after a few days of starvation and failed attempts at finding any food on the island or in the water, decided to resort to cannibalism and to eat his mates' bodies, and took on the name of John "Cannibal" Smith.
Swimming from island to island in the search for food, he was found and captured in January 1990 by an hostile tribe of native cannibals.
Using his skills of disguise and communication he acquired throughout his military career in south-east Asia, he managed to persuade the tribe leaders that he was one of them. He's been spending the last 18 years of his life disguised as a native, living in the tribe as a hunter of pale faces, and smoking cigars made out of healing herbs.
